So I'm reading A Reflection of Starlight, a wonderful/amazing/awesome/great fanfiction by the talented AutumnGracy and I loved sooooo much this scene in chapter 34 that I HAD to illustrate it...not only is this scene beautiful but I also think that this is what I want to say to you as a reader: thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us, thank you for putting such an effort into writing.

As for the creation of this short comic, it began as a very quick doodle, I had so much fun doing Valjean's and Javert's skin with my copics and I did everything else in watercolors and inktense pencils....but I do not own a scanner so I took a picture of it and it was horrible! The nice colors faded, the lineart looked awful and everything was just ugly, it was sad. So I ended up photoshopping the whole thing and it no longer looks like the original with its watercolor feeling but I guess it turned out a bit decent nonetheless...at least I hope so.

P.S.: Yes, that's a little martian who's witnessing Valjean and Javert's conversation...yup.
